The story

An immersive installation at the Problem-Solving Court Conference, BMA House, London, bringing to life young people's experience of youth court and how it feels.

We were hired by the Centre for Justice Innovation to bring to life the experience of young people in youth court and how they feel. The installation was shown at the Problem-Solving Court Conference at BMA House on 18 April 2023, a partnership between the Centre for Justice Innovation and the British Medical Association.

Delegates walked into a courtroom: the judge's bench, a young person sitting alone in front of it, and the floor covered in the facts that surround their case, from barrister strikes that leave people waiting far longer for justice, to the cost of living crisis, to cuts of up to 91% in youth services.
