Our flagship immersive exhibition. Eight rooms that take you on a journey of young people's lives: the pain, the suffering, the scars, the hurdles and the struggles young people go through and overcome.
Journey Through the Shadows opened in Soho, London in September 2017 and welcomed more than 600 visitors. The exhibition was created and put together by young people.
Each room is a stage of life: the early years, home, school, hopes and dreams, obstacles, the media, life on road and the criminal justice system. The words on the walls are the young people's own.
In 2018 we took the exhibition to Stockholm for the International Mental Health Leaders Conference, where it was seen by 500 international delegates.
We are all born into the same world. Every child enters the same world but not with the same chances at life.
